Gostaria de saber se Urano é iluminado por todos os lados uma vez que ele gira deitado sobre sua órbita (com aproximadamente 90° de inclinação). Urano não é iluminado por todos os lados simultaneamente! Como todos os objectos do Sistema Solar, Urano, a cada momento, tem metade iluminada (a semi-esfera virada para o Sol). Apenas, apesar da sua rápida rotação (mais rápida que a da Terra), na superfície de Urano não veríamos o dia e a noite a alternarem tão rápido. De facto, em boa parte da Hemisfério Norte teríamos umas décadas de "dia", enquanto a noite estava do outro lado. Depois revertem. O ciclo completo (voltar dia ao Hemisfério Norte) demora 84 anos, o tempo em que Urano completa uma volta inteira ao Sol. In fact, in a big portion of the North Hemisphere, we would have a "day" that is decades long, while on the South Hemisphere it would be night. Then, they would swap. The complete "day" cycle takes 84 years, the time it takes for Uranus to go around the Sun once.
