Em certas páginas de internet portuguesas surge algumas vezes a definição de planeta secundário, no qual se inclui a Lua, contudo em páginas de internet internacionais não existe essa definição. Existem apenas planetas anões nos quais não se inclui a Lua. Sendo assim a afirmação a Lua é um planeta secundário é verdadeira? De facto essa definição não existe oficialmente. Claro que podemos fazer as definições que desejarmos e utilizar as mesmas de seguida num determinado contexto (mas duvido que esses sites que refere façam isso...). Não é a primeira vez que nos colocam essa questão. Já aconteceu em 2014 com a gravidade acrescida de estar num manual escolar supostamente alvo de revisão científica (ver pergunta 191). In certain Portuguese Internet pages, the definition of "secondary planet" sometimes appears, in which the Moon is included, however in international Internet pages this definition doesn't exist. There are only dwarf planets that don't include the Moon. So, is the statement "the Moon is a secondary planet" true? Indeed, this definition doesn't officially exist. Of course, we can make any definitions we want, and use them within a certain context, but I doubt these pages do that. It's not the first time we are asked this question, it also happened in 2014, with the added issue of being in a school manual that was supposedly reviewed for its scientific content.
